Here’s how Performance Macro Coaching can help you…

Maximise performance

No matter your sport, performing at your best requires the correct nutrition to support your long-term health, fuel training and competition, and recover between sessions. Your check-ins will allow me to make regular adjustments to ensure your plan is optimised for you.

Make weight

Your nutrition plan will be catered to help you lose, gain or maintain weight whilst performance remains the priority. You’ll have any specific questions answered through monthly Q+A videos, with the option for add-on support for more advanced weight manipulation strategies.

Lose fat

Through regular check-ins, adjustments to your plan, and education around nutrient timings, I’ll help you maximise fat loss without sacrificing performance. You’ll also get accountability, the opportunity to get your questions answered, plus additional tips and resources from me!

Be flexible

My coaching app tracks your compliance as a percentage. Rather than being ‘on’ or ‘off’, it’s ok for you to be able to give 70% at some times, then dial it up to 100% during competition prep, like a dimmer switch. Consistency trumps perfection.

Gain strength

Gaining strength requires you to push hard in training - which you will only be able to do with proper fuel before (and sometimes during) your sessions, as well as the correct nutrition post-workout to allow your body to recover. Your plan will give you the information to do this effectively.

Stay consistent

Through weekly check-ins, in-app compliance graphs, and a growing community of people with similar goals, you’ll have the accountability and support you need to remain consistent with your nutrition, push through plateaus, and see your goals through.

 Here’s what you’ll get

  • Once you’ve completed the application from, I’ll send you your plan - a PDF including your initial calorie and macronutrient targets, alongside supporting information, advice and FAQs so you have all the tools you need to get started. You’ll notice the application form asks for a lot of detail on your current and past nutrition and training - this is because I don’t just use a generic calculator; I use all the information we have to predict your requirements as accurately as possible

  • Your body is constantly adapting - your metabolism, body composition, training levels, activity levels and more, all affect your nutritional needs. At some point, your goals are likely to change too.

Month 1 is all about fine-tuning - you’ll get weekly adjustments based on your tracking, check-ins and progress to ensure your plan is taking you towards your goals, whilst also feeling manageable and supporting your training and energy levels. Please note that if everything is heading in the right direction still, your plan may not need changing that week!

From month 2 onwards, you’ll still complete weekly check-ins, but you’ll only have updates to your plan every 2 weeks. After the initial fine-tuning stage where you adjust and settle into your plan, reducing the frequency of changes to your plan is important because:

    • 2 week periods give enough data to confidently determine whether any plateaus or unwanted weight changes are indications that your plan needs adjusting, or merely fluctuations in your scale weight as a result of things like water retention, salt intake, inflammation and countless other factors!

    • Routine and planning are key parts of building consistency with your nutrition. Constantly changing your plan can make forward planning impossible.

  • At the end of week 5, I’ll ask you to fill in a form detailing the timings of your training sessions, as well as other lifestyle factors that affect when you can and can’t eat, just as work, travel, and sleep.

I’ll use this to formulate a nutrient timing structure designed to help you split your macronutrients across your day in a way that optimises your energy during training, and your recovery between sessions.

At this point, your baseline macros won’t be drastically changing, plus you’ll be more familiar with what foods enable you to hit your macros, putting you in a better position to add another level of complexity.

If meal timings feel too much - that’s fine! You can still get great results without being 100% consistent with it, and I’ll provide some general guidelines for pre-, intra- and post-workout nutrition so that you can support your workouts even without following your meal timings to the letter!

  • You’ll receive a weekly check-in form to answer questions relating to not only your nutrition, but also your training progress, mood, sleep, and more. My coaching app will also show you a ‘compliance’ score - a percentage of the week that you stuck to your macro targets. This information will also guide any changes I make to your plan.

Please note, I don’t expect 100% compliance, all the time, but the more you can accurately track, the more information I have to make the most effective changes to your plan!

  • You’ll be provided with a link to submit any questions you have, which I’ll be answering in-depth in video format. This will be a monthly Q+A video initially, but may extend to more regularly, and include more in-depth webinars on specific topics, depending on demand.

My aim is to ensure you’re not just given a plan to follow, but you also start to understand the ‘why’ behind it, and have the opportunity to ask questions on related topics such as training, competing, mindset, and recovery.

  • You’ll be invited to join a Facebook group (optional!) created specifically for the Performance Macro Coaching programme.

This group is intended to create a sense of community! It’s a safe space where you can share your wins, encourage each other, and get additional motivation and accountability from your peers.

  • You’ll have the option to purchase add-on support, including:

    • one-off coaching calls

    • competition week + day plan

    • upgrade to weekly adjustments

    • training programme (please see my 1:1 bespoke coaching for more information)

  • Performance Macro Coaching is a macronutrient-based approach, meaning it will require you to track your food intake via an app such as myfitnesspal. This means that if you have a difficult relationship with calories or food tracking, Performance Macro Coaching may not be the best option for you at this time.

If you want to improve your eating habits without tracking calories or macros, you can do so through my bespoke 1:1 coaching. This involves a more flexible, holistic approach that’s tailored to your lifestyle and goals. It’s perfect for if you feel you need more support, accountability, flexibility, as well as an individualised approach towards mindset work. Find out more here.

  • For Performance Macro Coaching, your weight is a requirement.

It’s important for me to properly understand your starting point, as well to safeguard anyone whose application indicates that they may be struggling with disordered eating or body dysmorphia, so that I can work within my scope of practice and refer to appropriate help.

We keep track of weight in the same way that we might keep track of performance in sport - weight is one piece of data that helps us determine whether our nutrition and training is taking us towards our current goals.

Your weight will be required at the start and throughout coaching for
assessing whether calories are at maintenance, or in a surplus or deficit, as this will affect performance both in the long and short term

A consistent record of bodyweight is also essential for those competing in weight-categorised sports such as weightlifting or powerlifting.

  • Performance Macro Coaching is priced at £99 per month for month 1, then £69 per month thereafter.

There is a minimum 3 month initial commitment, followed by a rolling monthly subscription, which you can cancel with 30 days’ notice. Please get in touch if you have any questions.

You’ll have the option to purchase add-on support, including:

    • one-off coaching calls

    • competition week + day plan

    • training programme (please see my 1:1 bespoke coaching for more information)

  • No matter what sport you do, peak performance requires correct fuelling to enable you to push hard, then recover and replenish before going again.

Through fine-tuning your nutrition plan with adjustments based on your individual feedback, I’ll help you do exactly this - making sure you’re getting enough overall energy (calories), in addition to the right proportions of macronutrients (carbs, fats and proteins) to optimise your energy levels and recovery.

You’ll also be given a personalised plan to further fine-tune this and learn how to time your meals and snacks to fuel your training and kickstars recovery.

You can ask questions relating to training, nutrition, mindset, sleep, recovery and more through the video Q+A sessions, to help you cover all bases of athletic performance.

Through taking a long-term view towards your nutrition, Performance Macro Coaching can help you to manage bodyweight year-round if making weight for competitions is a consideration for you - helping to avoid last-minute or stressful weight cuts.

Coaching add-ons are available to purchase within Performance Macro Coaching if you need more intensive competition nutrition support.
